This amazing villa is in Formentor on the northern tip of Mallorca. Our clients’ design brief was to create a contemporary, fresh, open living environment that linked the inside with beautiful gardens that surround the property.

To take advantage of the stunning views each area was designed to encapsulate this – from the alfresco dining area close to the main kitchen, to the more casual poolside dining and barbeque area sheltered by the shade of the trees. The more formal seating area on the terrace provides the perfect area to entertaining while the nest rest, hanging between the trees provide a cool quite space to relax.  

As with all our projects, the first phase is to analyse how the client could use the space. Although no structural work was required, it was necessary to alter the existing floor plans, changing the use of some rooms.

To create the contemporary design that our client was looking for a neutral colour palette was decided upon with a few bright colours on key pieces of furniture. Cool silk linens were used on the sofa in the formal sitting room with cushions interjecting bright splashes of colour.
